Jordan Schmidt

Executive Chef

Jordan Schmidt is the Executive Chef at The View.  

A San Antonio native, Jordan began her culinary career as a line cook working across the city’s tight-knit restaurant scene. In 2017, she relocated to Miami to join Scarpetta at Fontainebleau Miami Beach as chef de partie. In 2020, Jordan moved to Tampa to work at Edison under Chef Jeannie Pierola as a sous chef before returning to Miami in 2023 as an executive sous at Pastis Miami. The following year, she moved to New York to take on the same role at the flagship Pastis in New York City’s Meatpacking District.  

In 2025, Jordan joined The View as a sous chef on the opening team, where she played a key role in shaping and developing the restaurant’s menu and culinary identity. In January 2026, Jordan was named executive chef. Known for her collaborative leadership style and creative approach to cooking, Jordan brings thoughtful technique and a strong sense of personality to every dish at The View.
